Castletownbere is the town where the B & B is located.
Castletownbere is a fishing town nestled at the heart of the beautiful Beara Peninsula in County Cork at the foot of the Caha Mountains. It is the principle town on the Beara peninsula. Also know as Castletown Berehaven, it is located on the Beara Peninsula by Berehaven Harbour. The town is situated along the 2,500km ‘Wild Atlantic Way’ running down the west coast of Ireland, as well as on The Beara Way walking route that takes in many local historical and archaeological sites.
Castletownbere is home to a multitude of artists, writers, artisan food producers, and craft makers. From pottery to cheese and wood turners to handmade soap. Many of these local foods and crafts can be sampled and purchased at our regular markets held in the Town Square on the first Thursday of the month, and every Thursday in the summer months.
